Malaysia Invites Myanmar Leader for Rohingya Talks

Malaysia has offered to invite Myanmar's military ruler, Min Aung Hlaing, for an official visit to expedite the repatriation of Rohingya refugees. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim stated this conditional offer aims to foster better relations and trade, emphasizing a diplomatic approach over criticism. This move could offer Min Aung Hlaing further international legitimacy. Malaysia hosts over 126,000 Rohingya refugees and recently agreed to take back 5,000 members of the minority group.
