Local artisans in Purnia are using Madhubani art to create these unique sarees, featuring traditional imagery from the Chhath Puja. This initiative, underway for 15 days, has already secured orders worth approximately 4 lakh rupees for 35 sarees. The project provides employment and income opportunities for local women, showcasing Bihar's rich cultural heritage through its folk art.

बिहार के पावन छठ पर्व की परंपराओं को अब साड़ियों पर खूबसूरती से उकेरा जा रहा है। पूर्णिया के स्थानीय कारीगर मधुबनी कला का इस्तेमाल करके ये अनोखी साड़ियां बना रहे हैं, जिनमें छठ पूजा की पारंपरिक छवियां दिखाई गई हैं। 15 दिनों से चल रहे इस प्रयास में, 35 साड़ियों के लिए लगभग 4 लाख रुपये के ऑर्डर पहले ही मिल चुके हैं। यह प्रोजेक्ट स्थानीय महिलाओं को रोजगार और आय के अवसर प्रदान करता है, और अपनी लोक कला के माध्यम से बिहार की समृद्ध सांस्कृतिक विरासत को प्रदर्शित करता है।
