Foetus Remains Found With Dog; Private Hospital Sealed In Daltonganj

Authorities in Daltonganj sealed a private health centre and its adjoining ultrasonography facility after aborted foetus remains were found with a stray dog on the Medinirai Medical College and Hospital campus. An inquiry has been ordered to determine where the termination occurred and if disposal rules were followed. Investigators traced the procedure to the private hospital using CCTV footage showing women carrying a blood-stained bag. Two pregnant women awaiting delivery at the sealed facility were moved to the medical college under medical care.
