Trump Says US Has Time in Iran Conflict, Peace Efforts Stall

India Today · world

US President Donald Trump stated that Washington is not in a hurry to resolve its conflict with Iran, describing it as "not a typical war." He believes the United States has ample time, despite months of fighting and failed diplomatic efforts. Trump claimed Iran desires negotiations but faces internal issues, including an inability to pay its personnel. He also downplayed the financial cost of the military campaign for the US, suggesting it has been recouped elsewhere. Despite ongoing talks, significant differences remain between Washington and Tehran on key issues.
