Drought-Hit Dharwad Farmers Get 12-Month Loan Repayment Moratorium

Farmers in Dharwad district, where all eight taluks have been declared severely drought-affected, will receive a 12-month moratorium on loan repayments for crops, dairy, fisheries, and agriculture-based enterprises. The overall loan repayment period has been extended to 60 months. The district administration has urged farmers to avoid unauthorized moneylenders and report any coercive recovery tactics. Farmers must register on the FRUITS portal and obtain a Farmer Identification Number to receive drought relief.

सूखे से प्रभावित धारवाड़ के किसानों को मिलेगा 12 महीने का लोन चुकाने का समय

धारवाड़ जिले के किसान, जहाँ सभी आठ तालुकों को गंभीर रूप से सूखा प्रभावित घोषित किया गया है, उन्हें फसल, डेयरी, मत्स्य पालन और कृषि-आधारित उद्यमों के लिए ऋण भुगतान पर 12 महीने की मोहलत मिलेगी। ऋण चुकाने की कुल अवधि को 60 महीने तक बढ़ा दिया गया है। जिला प्रशासन ने किसानों से अनधिकृत साहूकारों से बचने और किसी भी जबरन वसूली की रणनीति की रिपोर्ट करने का आग्रह किया है। सूखा राहत प्राप्त करने के लिए किसानों को FRUITS पोर्टल पर पंजीकरण कराना होगा और किसान पहचान पत्र प्राप्त करना होगा।
