The Delhi High Court has refused an urgent hearing to a YouTuber accused of making casteist remarks and humiliating a police officer during a protest. The YouTuber, who had previously filed a sexual assault complaint against the officer, sought urgent protection from coercive action. The FIR against her includes charges under the SC/ST Act and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for obstructing a public servant and defamation. The court agreed to list the matter for hearing on Friday, but denied immediate relief.
