Punjab CM Mann Orders SIT Probe Into Anandpur Sahib Case, Promises SGPC Elections

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has assured a swift and transparent investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a former SGPC member at Sri Anandpur Sahib. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is being formed immediately to ensure strict action against those found responsible. Mann also reiterated the government's commitment to holding the long-pending Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) elections without further delay. He emphasized that the investigation will be fair, time-bound, and that no one will be allowed to interfere with the justice process.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने श्री आनंदपुर साहिब में एक पूर्व SGPC सदस्य से जुड़े कथित यौन उत्पीड़न मामले की त्वरित और पारदर्शी जांच का आश्वासन दिया है। जिम्मेदार पाए जाने वालों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित करने के लिए तुरंत एक विशेष जांच दल (SIT) का गठन किया जा रहा है। मान ने लंबे समय से लंबित शिरोमणि गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी (SGPC) के चुनाव में बिना किसी और देरी के कराने की सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता को दोहराया। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि जांच निष्पक्ष, समयबद्ध होगी और किसी को भी न्याय प्रक्रिया में हस्तक्षेप करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
