Nagpur is gearing up for the 70th Dhammachakra Pravartan Day celebrations at Deekshabhoomi, expecting lakhs of Buddhist devotees. The district administration has implemented several measures for a safe event, including 25,000 identification wristbands for children to prevent them from getting lost. For the first time, 24 dedicated accommodation facilities have been set up for outstation devotees, offering essential amenities. These shelters are insured for ₹15 crore against untoward incidents and fire.
