Jio Financial Services and Allianz Infuse ₹640 Cr Into General Insurance JV

Jio Financial Services (JFS) and German insurer Allianz have jointly invested ₹640.1 crore into their general insurance venture, Jio Allianz General Insurance. Each company contributed ₹320.05 crore via a rights issue, subscribing 32 lakh shares to operationalize the business. This capital infusion will fund the joint venture's operations, with both JFS and Allianz maintaining a 50% stake each. JFS's total investment in the JV now stands at ₹375 crore, as it expands its fintech ecosystem beyond core financial products.

जियो फाइनेंशियल सर्विसेज (JFS) और जर्मन बीमा कंपनी एलायंस ने अपने जनरल इंश्योरेंस वेंचर, जियो एलायंस जनरल इंश्योरेंस में संयुक्त रूप से ₹640.1 करोड़ का निवेश किया है। दोनों कंपनियों ने 32 लाख शेयर खरीदकर ₹320.05 करोड़ का योगदान दिया ताकि व्यवसाय शुरू हो सके। इस पूंजी निवेश से ज्वाइंट वेंचर के संचालन को फंड मिलेगा, जिसमें JFS और एलायंस दोनों की 50-50% हिस्सेदारी बनी रहेगी। मुख्य वित्तीय उत्पादों से परे अपने फिनटेक इकोसिस्टम का विस्तार करते हुए, JV में JFS का कुल निवेश अब ₹375 करोड़ हो गया है।
