Centre Approves 2 Lakh Rural Houses For Telangana

The Centre has approved the construction of two lakh houses in Telangana under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) for the financial year 2026-27. Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy announced the approval, calling it a significant step towards providing dignified housing for rural families. He stated that Telangana previously missed out on the scheme due to the previous government's non-participation in a 2018 survey.

केंद्र सरकार ने तेलंगाना में वित्तीय वर्ष 2026-27 के लिए प्रधानमंत्री आवास योजना-ग्रामीण (PMAY-G) के तहत दो लाख घर बनाने की मंजूरी दे दी है। केंद्रीय मंत्री जी. किशन रेड्डी ने यह घोषणा करते हुए कहा कि यह ग्रामीण परिवारों को सम्मानजनक आवास देने की दिशा में एक बड़ा कदम है। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछली सरकार के 2018 के सर्वे में हिस्सा न लेने के कारण तेलंगाना इस योजना से वंचित रह गया था।
