Absconding Drug Case Accused Held After Two Years in Himachal Pradesh

Police have arrested a 32-year-old man, Ragesh, from Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, who had been absconding for two years in a major drug trafficking case. He was wanted for providing financial assistance to purchase narcotic substances seized in June 2024. The contraband, including suspected MDMA and ganja, was being transported from Bengaluru. Ragesh had fled to Kullu after learning of earlier arrests and was working as a tourist guide. He has been remanded in judicial custody.
