Whale Fall Movie Explores Survival Inside Sperm Whale's Stomach

Aaj Tak · entertainment

The movie 'Whale Fall' depicts a young man trapped inside a sperm whale's stomach after being swallowed during a scuba dive. While the film explores his struggle for survival, scientists state that surviving inside a whale is extremely rare and difficult. The harsh conditions, including immense pressure, digestive acids, and lack of oxygen, make survival highly improbable. Although a sperm whale's throat might be large enough to swallow a human, they do not typically prey on people, and no confirmed cases of a whale swallowing a human whole exist.
