Annamayya and Chittoor districts in Andhra Pradesh experienced heavy rainfall over the past 24 hours, providing much-needed relief after a prolonged dry period. Annamayya district recorded significant precipitation across its revenue divisions, with Piler Division receiving the highest rainfall. Chittoor district also witnessed intense thunderstorms, particularly around Chittoor town and its surrounding belts. Irrigation officials stated the rains would greatly benefit farmers, aiding crop recovery and improving water levels in local water bodies, thereby supporting early Rabi sowing.

आंध्र प्रदेश के अनंतमय्या और चित्तूर जिलों में पिछले 24 घंटों में भारी बारिश हुई, जिससे लंबे समय तक चले सूखे के बाद राहत मिली है। अनंतमय्या जिले में राजस्व मंडलों में अच्छी खासी बारिश दर्ज की गई, जिसमें पिलर डिवीजन में सबसे ज़्यादा बारिश हुई। चित्तूर जिले में भी तेज़ आंधी-तूफान देखे गए, खासकर चित्तूर शहर और उसके आसपास के इलाकों में। सिंचाई अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बारिश से किसानों को बहुत फायदा होगा, जिससे फसलों को ठीक होने में मदद मिलेगी और स्थानीय जल निकायों में पानी का स्तर सुधरेगा, जिससे रबी की शुरुआती बुवाई में मदद मिलेगी।
