Latur Police Mandate Reflectors on Cane Transport Vehicles

Latur Superintendent of Police Amol Tambe has directed all sugar factories to equip cane transport vehicles with high-quality reflectors and safety stickers. This directive comes as the 2026-27 crushing season began, leading to increased movement of laden vehicles. Tambe warned of legal action against factories if accidents causing loss of life occur due to non-compliance. The police emphasized that vehicles must also not exceed their carrying capacity to prevent accidents and road damage.

लातूर के पुलिस अधीक्षक अमोल तांबे ने सभी शुगर फैक्ट्रियों को गन्ने के परिवहन करने वाले वाहनों पर उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले रिफ्लेक्टर और सुरक्षा स्टिकर लगाने का निर्देश दिया है। यह निर्देश 2026-27 पेराई सीजन शुरू होने के साथ आया है, जिससे लदे वाहनों की आवाजाही बढ़ गई है। तांबे ने चेतावनी दी है कि यदि गैर-अनुपालन के कारण जान-माल का नुकसान करने वाली दुर्घटनाएं होती हैं तो फैक्ट्रियों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पुलिस ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि दुर्घटनाओं और सड़क क्षति को रोकने के लिए वाहनों को अपनी वहन क्षमता से अधिक नहीं होना चाहिए।
