Congress High Command Orders Probe Into Alleged Sting Attempts On CMs

The Congress high command has directed the Karnataka government to investigate alleged attempts to conduct sting operations targeting Karnataka Chief Minister D K Shivakumar and his Kerala counterpart V D Satheesan. Shivakumar recently claimed a businessman wearing smart glasses met him under suspicious circumstances, leading him to suspect an attempt to record or spy on him. The businessman had also met Satheesan. Home Minister Priyank Kharge stated that wearing camera-equipped glasses while meeting dignitaries is unethical and that protocols should be followed.

कांग्रेस हाईकमान ने कर्नाटक सरकार को कर्नाटक के मुख्यमंत्री डी के शिवकुमार और उनके केरल समकक्ष वी डी सतीसन को निशाना बनाकर कथित स्टिंग ऑपरेशन करने के प्रयासों की जांच करने का निर्देश दिया है। शिवकुमार ने हाल ही में दावा किया था कि स्मार्ट चश्मा पहने एक व्यवसायी संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में उनसे मिला था, जिससे उन्हें उन पर रिकॉर्ड करने या जासूसी करने का प्रयास होने का संदेह हुआ। वह व्यवसायी सतीसन से भी मिला था। गृह मंत्री प्रियंका खड़गे ने कहा कि गणमान्य व्यक्तियों से मिलते समय कैमरा-युक्त चश्मा पहनना अनैतिक है और प्रोटोकॉल का पालन किया जाना चाहिए।
