Breaking Bad actor RJ Mitte revealed in a 2019 interview that his stepbrother told him he was adopted around age six. While curious about his biological medical history, Mitte never felt a strong urge to find his birth mother, as he felt loved and supported by his adoptive family. His mother, Dyna, had been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and told she couldn't have children before his adoption. Mitte, who also lived with cerebral palsy, passed away on October 12, 2026, at age 34.
