Over 18,000 Agniveers to Retire; Direct Entry Opportunities Available

More than 18,300 Agniveers from the first batch of the Agnipath scheme will complete their four-year service and retire. To aid their transition, the government has introduced significant policies, including 50% reservation in CAPF and Assam Rifles, with exemptions from written exams and physical tests. State police forces and other government departments also offer reservation quotas ranging from 10% to 20%. Additionally, Agniveers will receive a tax-free 'Seva Nidhi' package of approximately ₹11.71 lakh, usable for higher education or entrepreneurship.

अग्निपथ योजना के पहले बैच के 18,300 से ज़्यादा अग्निवीर अपनी चार साल की सेवा पूरी करके रिटायर होंगे। उनके भविष्य को आसान बनाने के लिए सरकार ने कई बड़ी नीतियां शुरू की हैं, जिनमें CAPF और असम राइफल्स में 50% आरक्षण शामिल है, और लिखित परीक्षा व फिजिकल टेस्ट से छूट भी मिलेगी। राज्य पुलिस बलों और अन्य सरकारी विभागों में भी 10% से 20% तक आरक्षण कोटा दिया गया है। इसके अलावा, अग्निवीरों को लगभग ₹11.71 लाख का टैक्स-फ्री 'सेवा निधि' पैकेज मिलेगा, जिसे वे उच्च शिक्षा या बिज़नेस शुरू करने के लिए इस्तेमाल कर सकते हैं।
