PM Modi: Village Infrastructure Improved Significantly

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that the gap between Indian cities and villages has significantly narrowed over the past 12 years, with village infrastructure seeing substantial improvement. He made these remarks while interacting virtually with participants of the 'Seva Yatra', a motorcycle rally travelling between Varanasi and Vadnagar. Modi also highlighted an increase in self-reliance among women since his government came to power in 2014. The rallies aim to spread the spirit of service to grassroots levels across the country.

प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने कहा कि पिछले 12 सालों में भारत के शहरों और गांवों के बीच की खाई काफी कम हुई है। गांवों के इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर में काफी सुधार आया है। उन्होंने यह बात 'सेवा यात्रा' के प्रतिभागियों से वर्चुअल बातचीत में कही। यह मोटरसाइकिल रैली वाराणसी से वडनगर तक जा रही थी। मोदी ने यह भी बताया कि 2014 में उनकी सरकार आने के बाद से महिलाओं में आत्मनिर्भरता बढ़ी है। इन रैलियों का मकसद देश भर में सेवा भाव को जमीनी स्तर तक पहुंचाना है।
