Animal Sacrifice Banned During Annual Yatra At Kakkeri Village

The District Commissioner of Belagavi, Mohammad Roshan, has prohibited animal sacrifice during the annual Shri Bhistadevi Yatra at Kakkeri village. The festival is scheduled to take place to 21. This decision follows a representation from Shri Dayanand Swami of the World Animal Welfare Board, who has been campaigning against the practice. The district administration has also declared the area a dry zone to 20 to maintain law and order, with bars and liquor shops ordered to close.

बेलगावी के जिला आयुक्त, मोहम्मद रोशन ने कक्केरी गांव में वार्षिक श्री बिस्तादेवी यात्रा के दौरान पशु बलि पर रोक लगा दी है। यह उत्सव 21 को होने वाला है। यह फैसला वर्ल्ड एनिमल वेलफेयर बोर्ड के श्री दयानंद स्वामी के एक प्रतिनिधित्व के बाद आया है, जो इस प्रथा के खिलाफ अभियान चला रहे हैं। जिला प्रशासन ने कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए क्षेत्र को 20 तक सूखा क्षेत्र भी घोषित कर दिया है, जिसमें बार और शराब की दुकानों को बंद करने का आदेश दिया गया है।
