Berlin Airport Halts Flights Over Drone Sighting

Berlin Brandenburg Airport briefly suspended flight operations on Wednesday evening due to a drone sighting on the northern runway. The airspace above the German capital was closed shortly after the drone was spotted at 8:00 p.m. local time. Operations remained suspended for approximately 45 minutes before the airspace reopened. While flights have resumed, passengers are experiencing significant delays as the airport works to clear the backlog.

बर्लिन ब्रांडेनबर्ग एयरपोर्ट पर बुधवार शाम को उत्तरी रनवे पर ड्रोन दिखने के कारण उड़ानें रोक दी गईं। रात 8 बजे ड्रोन देखे जाने के तुरंत बाद जर्मन राजधानी के ऊपर का हवाई क्षेत्र बंद कर दिया गया था। लगभग 45 मिनट तक उड़ानें रुकी रहीं, जिसके बाद हवाई क्षेत्र फिर से खोल दिया गया। हालाँकि उड़ानें फिर से शुरू हो गई हैं, लेकिन एयरपोर्ट पर यात्रियों को भारी देरी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है।
