Asian Games 2026 MVPs: Teenage Swimmer Yu Zidi and Sprinter Puripol Boonson Named

China's 13-year-old swimmer Yu Zidi and Thailand's 20-year-old sprinter Puripol Boonson have been awarded the Most Valuable Player titles for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games. Yu achieved a historic feat by becoming the youngest MVP ever, securing three gold medals and setting multiple Games and Asian records in butterfly and individual medley events. Boonson dominated the track with a 100m-200m sprint double, also breaking several records. Both athletes will receive USD 25,000 from the Olympic Council of Asia for their exceptional performances.
