Enhanced preventive measures include maintaining personal hygiene and keeping surroundings clean. Individuals working in waterlogged areas are advised to take doxycycline tablets for leptospirosis prevention, available free at healthcare institutions. Health authorities are also intensifying efforts to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding sites by observing dry days and inspecting homes for stagnant water.
