MMC Commissioner Promotes Four-Bin Waste Segregation

Malkajgiri Municipal Corporation Commissioner T. Vinay Krishna Reddy has launched a campaign for domestic waste segregation using four bins. This initiative aims to enable scientific waste processing as per Solid Waste Management Rules 2026 and Supreme Court directions. Households must use green bins for wet waste, blue for dry, red for hygiene waste, and black for hazardous materials. A separate collection for flower waste is also planned for organic product processing.
