A significant 13% increase in ATF prices has been implemented by oil companies, raising the cost from ₹121 to ₹137 per litre. This hike, amounting to ₹16 per litre, is attributed to rising international crude oil prices. This marks the third consecutive monthly increase, with ATF prices rising over 25% in three months. As fuel constitutes up to 40% of an airline's operating costs, passengers can expect higher airfares. Commercial LPG cylinder prices have also seen a ₹62.59 increase.
