Bengaluru is set to host its annual elders' fest, Hiriyara Habba, on Sunday, October 4. Organized by The Volunteers (VTVO) through its Elders’ Adda Cause initiative, the event aims to bring together senior citizens from old-age homes for a day of celebration. This year, approximately 800 senior citizens from 40 old-age homes across the city will participate, supported by over 800 volunteers. The festival, which began in 2017, provides a platform for elders to engage in games, sports, and cultural activities, making them the focus of the day's festivities.
