Supreme Court Orders Removal of Encroachments From Unitech Noida Plots

The Supreme Court has directed authorities in Gautam Buddh Nagar to remove all encroachments from plots allotted to the Unitech Group in Noida's sectors 96, 97, and 98. A government-appointed board reported that entire villages have occupied the land, halting construction of flats and delaying thousands of homebuyers. The court expressed concern that prolonged occupation could make removal difficult. Authorities have been ordered to act urgently and submit a compliance report by November 17, aiming to prevent further delays in stalled housing projects.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गौतम बुद्ध नगर के अधिकारियों को नोएडा के सेक्टर 96, 97 और 98 में यूनिटेक ग्रुप को आवंटित प्लॉटों से सभी अतिक्रमण हटाने का निर्देश दिया है। सरकार द्वारा नियुक्त एक बोर्ड ने रिपोर्ट दी कि पूरे गाँव ने जमीन पर कब्जा कर लिया है, जिससे फ्लैटों का निर्माण रुक गया है और हजारों घर खरीदार इंतजार कर रहे हैं। कोर्ट ने चिंता जताई कि लंबे समय तक कब्जा रहने से इसे हटाना मुश्किल हो सकता है। अधिकारियों को तुरंत कार्रवाई करने और 17 नवंबर तक अनुपालन रिपोर्ट जमा करने का आदेश दिया गया है, ताकि अटके हुए आवास परियोजनाओं में और देरी को रोका जा सके।
