Anna University will now monitor the faculty strength of all 420 affiliated engineering colleges throughout the year to identify and remove fake faculty members. Colleges must upload department-wise faculty details, including images, AICTE IDs, and designations, on their official websites. The university will verify this information and plans to request monthly updates to ensure faculty consistency. This initiative follows a recent inspection where Anna University denied affiliation to 10 colleges and took action against 54 others for lacking required faculty and facilities.

अन्ना यूनिवर्सिटी अब 420 एफिलिएटेड इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों के फैकल्टी स्ट्रेंथ पर साल भर नज़र रखेगी ताकि फर्जी फैकल्टी सदस्यों की पहचान कर उन्हें हटाया जा सके। कॉलेजों को अपनी वेबसाइट पर विभाग-वार फैकल्टी का विवरण, जिसमें तस्वीरें, AICTE आईडी और पदनाम शामिल हैं, अपलोड करना होगा। यूनिवर्सिटी इस जानकारी को सत्यापित करेगी और फैकल्टी की निरंतरता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मासिक अपडेट का अनुरोध करने की योजना बना रही है। यह पहल हालिया निरीक्षण के बाद आई है, जिसमें अन्ना यूनिवर्सिटी ने 10 कॉलेजों को एफिलिएशन देने से इनकार कर दिया था और 54 अन्य के खिलाफ आवश्यक फैकल्टी और सुविधाओं की कमी के लिए कार्रवाई की थी।
