CM Rejects DMK Meet On Cauvery Water Dispute

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay has rejected the DMK's demand for an all-party meeting regarding the Mekedatu Dam and the Cauvery water dispute. He affirmed that his government would not compromise on the state's water rights. Vijay stated that Tamil Nadu's position has already been communicated to the Prime Minister. He urged the opposition to avoid politicizing this critical water issue.

मुख्यमंत्री ने कावेरी जल विवाद पर डीएमके की बैठक ठुकराई

तमिलनाडु के मुख्यमंत्री सी. जोसेफ विजय ने कावेरी जल विवाद और मेकेदातु बांध को लेकर डीएमके की सर्वदलीय बैठक की मांग ठुकरा दी है। उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी सरकार राज्य के पानी के अधिकारों से समझौता नहीं करेगी। विजय ने बताया कि तमिलनाडु का पक्ष प्रधानमंत्री को बता दिया गया है। उन्होंने विपक्ष से इस अहम जल मुद्दे को राजनीतिक रंग न देने की अपील की।
