India Slams Pakistan at UN Over Minority Rights Focus on Welfare, Not Military Directives

Times of India · world

India has strongly criticized Pakistan at the United Nations for using the international forum for propaganda while neglecting its own citizens' welfare. India's representative, Raghoo Puri, stated that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and demanded Pakistan vacate its illegally occupied territories. Puri urged Pakistani representatives to address their citizens' concerns rather than follow military directives. This confrontation follows India's previous rebuke of Pakistan on October 23 regarding its treatment of religious minorities and its attempts to lecture India on religious freedom.
