Pinarayi Vijayan Skips ED Questioning Over CMRL Payoff Case

Former Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning on October 23 in connection with the CMRL-Exalogic payoff case. His counsel informed ED officials that Vijayan will skip the summons as the Supreme Court has stayed a Kerala Police probe into an FIR registered against him, his daughter T. Veena, and son-in-law Mohamed Riyas. The ED had previously issued the summons for interrogation at its Kochi zonal office.
