Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) in Bengaluru has proposed illuminating prominent government and heritage buildings, including the Vidhana Soudha, in pink. This initiative aims to raise awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed globally in October. The proposal, approved by Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, seeks to highlight the importance of early detection, timely diagnosis, and treatment. RGUHS will also conduct awareness programs and publish an educational booklet to encourage women to prioritize their health and seek medical advice promptly.
