Virginia and the District of Columbia have filed a federal lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump's proposed memorial arch. This adds to existing legal opposition, with three lawsuits now demanding a halt to construction. The administration indicated work could commence as early as next week. Attorneys general for both jurisdictions argue the project will cause irreparable harm, including traffic snarls, pollution, and interference with emergency services. The proposed 250-foot arch would be taller than the Statue of Liberty.
