Grand Alliance Vows to Restore Democracy, Demands Chief Election Commissioner's Ouster

GA parties in Bihar, as part of the INDIA bloc's nationwide call, paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi and pledged to fight for the restoration of democracy. They are demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the annulment of the special intensive revision of electoral rolls. CPI(ML) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya alleged the CEC was behind "vote theft" to benefit the BJP. RJD leaders stated their 'save democracy campaign' will continue until the CEC resigns, with protests planned.

बिहार में INDIA गठबंधन के देशव्यापी आह्वान के तहत GA पार्टियों ने महात्मा गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि दी और लोकतंत्र की बहाली के लिए लड़ने का संकल्प लिया। वे मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे और चुनावी रोल के विशेष गहन संशोधन को रद्द करने की मांग कर रहे हैं। CPI(ML) के महासचिव दीपांकर भट्टाचार्य ने आरोप लगाया कि भाजपा को फायदा पहुंचाने के लिए 'वोट चोरी' के पीछे सीईसी थे। राजद नेताओं ने कहा कि उनका 'लोकतंत्र बचाओ अभियान' तब तक जारी रहेगा जब तक सीईसी इस्तीफा नहीं देते, और विरोध प्रदर्शन की योजना है।
