October 2nd, traditionally celebrated as Gandhi Jayanti, has acquired a new cultural significance over the past decade due to the 'Drishyam' film franchise. The date is now strongly associated with the movie's plot points, including a trip to Panaji, attending a satsang, and eating pav bhaji. This connection has become deeply embedded in Indian pop culture, with social media reinforcing it annually through memes and references.
