Bengaluru Trust Employee Stole Rs 40 Lakh Over Four Years for Online Betting

A housekeeping employee of Shree Sai Darshanam Trust in Bengaluru has been arrested for allegedly stealing nearly Rs 40 lakh over a period of four years. The accused, Shrinivas S Nadagoud, used his access to a trustee's locker to withdraw the cash, funding an online betting habit. The theft came to light after a significant amount went missing during the Dasara holidays. Following his confession, Nadagoud was remanded to judicial custody. Investigations revealed transfers of approximately Rs 18 lakh through an associate.

बेंगलुरु में श्री साई दर्शन ट्रस्ट के एक हाउसकीपिंग कर्मचारी को चार साल की अवधि में लगभग 40 लाख रुपये चुराने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। आरोपी, श्रीनिवास एस नडगौड, ने ऑनलाइन सट्टेबाजी की लत को पूरा करने के लिए एक ट्रस्टी की तिजोरी तक अपनी पहुंच का इस्तेमाल करके नकदी निकाली। दशहरा की छुट्टियों के दौरान एक बड़ी रकम गायब होने के बाद चोरी का खुलासा हुआ। अपनी स्वीकारोक्ति के बाद, नडगौड को न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। जांच में एक सहयोगी के माध्यम से लगभग 18 लाख रुपये के हस्तांतरण का पता चला।
