Car Trader's Wife Booked For Stealing His Licensed Pistol And Six Cartridges

A Ludhiana-based car trader has accused his wife of stealing his licensed Webley and Scott.30-bore pistol and six live cartridges from their home on October 1. The couple had married only three months prior after meeting on Facebook. The trader reported the theft after his wife refused to return the firearm and allegedly threatened him. The police have registered a case against the woman under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Arms Act. An investigation is underway to determine further actions.

लुधियाना के एक कार डीलर ने अपनी पत्नी पर 1 अक्टूबर को घर से अपनी लाइसेंस वाली Webley and Scott .30-bore पिस्टल और छह ज़िंदा कारतूस चुराने का आरोप लगाया है। यह जोड़ा फेसबुक पर मिलने के तीन महीने बाद ही शादी के बंधन में बंधा था। डीलर ने चोरी की रिपोर्ट तब दर्ज कराई जब उसकी पत्नी ने कथित तौर पर बंदूक वापस करने से इनकार कर दिया और उसे धमकी दी। पुलिस ने भारतीय न्याय संहिता और शस्त्र अधिनियम की धाराओं के तहत महिला के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया है। आगे की कार्रवाई निर्धारित करने के लिए जांच चल रही है।
