Bank unions have postponed their three-day strike planned from September 28 to 30. This decision followed a meeting between the IBA and the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) on September 27. A high-level committee will be formed to discuss making all Saturdays holidays and to explore options for performance-linked incentives for officers. The unions also seek better pension benefits and resolution of pending wage revisions. The postponement ensures banking services will not face disruption from the planned strike.

बैंक यूनियनों ने 28 से 30 सितंबर तक की अपनी तीन दिवसीय हड़ताल स्थगित कर दी है। यह फैसला 27 सितंबर को IBA और यूनाइटेड फोरम ऑफ बैंक यूनियंस (UFBU) के बीच हुई बैठक के बाद आया। सभी शनिवारों को छुट्टी बनाने और अधिकारियों के लिए प्रदर्शन-लिंक्ड इंसेंटिव के विकल्पों पर चर्चा के लिए एक उच्च-स्तरीय समिति बनाई जाएगी। यूनियनों ने बेहतर पेंशन लाभ और लंबित वेतन संशोधन के समाधान की भी मांग की है। इस स्थगन से नियोजित हड़ताल से बैंकिंग सेवाओं में कोई बाधा नहीं आएगी।
