Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr have scripted history by breaking an 87-year-old record previously held by Argentine club River Plate. The Saudi Pro League club's record of 93 consecutive league matches was confirmed on Saturday. This remarkable feat surpasses the previous record set by Club Atlético River Plate between September 1936 and June 1939. The new record was achieved when substitute Abdullah Al-Hamdan scored a long-range goal to secure a 1-1 draw against Al Khaleej.
