Burglars Assault Guard, Steal 550kg Silver Worth ₹14 Crore From Salem Workshop

A gang of four burglars assaulted a security guard and stole approximately 550kg of silver anklets and other items worth ₹14 crore from a manufacturing unit in Salem. The incident occurred early Monday morning at a workshop owned by M Balasubramaniam, who supplies ornaments to jewellery shops across several states. The burglars damaged CCTV cameras before entering the premises and making off with the valuable stock. The injured guard is receiving hospital treatment, and four special police teams have been formed to investigate the theft.

चार चोरों के एक गिरोह ने एक सुरक्षा गार्ड पर हमला किया और सलेम की एक निर्माण इकाई से लगभग 550 किलोग्राम चांदी की पायलें और अन्य सामान चुरा लिया, जिसकी कीमत ₹14 करोड़ थी। यह घटना सोमवार तड़के एम बालासुब्रमण्यम के एक वर्कशॉप में हुई, जो कई राज्यों में ज्वैलरी की दुकानों को आभूषणों की आपूर्ति करते हैं। चोरों ने परिसर में घुसने और कीमती माल ले जाने से पहले CCTV कैमरों को नुकसान पहुंचाया। घायल गार्ड को अस्पताल में इलाज मिल रहा है, और चोरी की जांच के लिए चार विशेष पुलिस टीमें बनाई गई हैं।
