Karnataka to bring all citizen services online under Sakala framework

Karnataka government has issued guidelines to make citizen services more accessible and transparent by bringing all services, including licences and certificates, online under the Sakala framework. These guidelines, approved by the Chief Minister, aim to reduce service delivery time, with instant issuance of certificates where possible. Applicants will benefit from Aadhaar-based verification, digital payments, and SMS/WhatsApp updates on application status. Forms will be available in Kannada and English, and all issued certificates will be stored in DigiLocker, enhancing transparency and reducing corruption.

कर्नाटक सरकार ने सकला फ्रेमवर्क के तहत लाइसेंस और प्रमाण पत्र सहित सभी सेवाओं को ऑनलाइन करके नागरिक सेवाओं को अधिक सुलभ और पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए दिशानिर्देश जारी किए हैं। मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा अनुमोदित इन दिशानिर्देशों का उद्देश्य सेवा वितरण के समय को कम करना है, जहाँ संभव हो प्रमाण पत्रों का तत्काल जारी होना। आवेदकों को आधार-आधारित सत्यापन, डिजिटल भुगतान और आवेदन की स्थिति पर SMS/WhatsApp अपडेट से लाभ होगा। फॉर्म कन्नड़ और अंग्रेजी में उपलब्ध होंगे, और जारी किए गए सभी प्रमाण पत्र DigiLocker में संग्रहीत किए जाएंगे, जिससे पारदर्शिता बढ़ेगी और भ्रष्टाचार कम होगा।
