SC Proposes Special Courts For Manipur Violence Cases

The Supreme Court has proposed establishing special courts to exclusively hear cases related to the ethnic violence in Manipur. Previously, the apex court had transferred CBI cases concerning the violence from Manipur to Gauhati. This move aims to streamline the judicial process and ensure dedicated attention to the sensitive matters arising from the conflict.
