Akasa Air is set to significantly boost pilot compensation and benefits starting January 1, 2027, as part of its expansion plans. Pilots will see a salary increase of up to 20 percent, along with higher guaranteed monthly flying hours and extended annual leave entitlements. The airline is also introducing new work schedule options to improve pilot work-life balance. These changes coincide with Akasa Air's fleet expansion and the establishment of new pilot bases in Kochi and Kolkata, aiming to support its growing operations and address industry-wide concerns about pilot welfare.

आकासा एयर अपनी विस्तार योजनाओं के तहत 1 जनवरी, 2027 से पायलटों के वेतन और सुविधाओं में काफी बढ़ोतरी करने जा रही है। पायलटों को 20 प्रतिशत तक वेतन वृद्धि मिलेगी, साथ ही मासिक उड़ान के घंटों में बढ़ोतरी और वार्षिक अवकाश के अधिकारों में विस्तार होगा। एयरलाइन पायलटों के काम और जीवन के बीच संतुलन को बेहतर बनाने के लिए काम के नए शेड्यूल विकल्प भी पेश कर रही है। ये बदलाव आकासा एयर के बेड़े के विस्तार और कोच्चि व कोलकाता में नए पायलट बेस की स्थापना के साथ हो रहे हैं, जिसका उद्देश्य इसके बढ़ते परिचालन का समर्थन करना और पायलटों की भलाई के बारे में उद्योग-व्यापी चिंताओं को दूर करना है।
