भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था और रक्षा क्षेत्र में काफ़ी बढ़ोतरी दिख रही है, अप्रैल-जून तिमाही में GDP 7.8% बढ़ी है। Fitch और S&P जैसी बड़ी ग्लोबल एजेंसियों ने भारत के ग्रोथ अनुमानों को ऊपर किया है। साथ ही, भारत रक्षा में आत्मनिर्भरता की ओर बढ़ रहा है, लंबी दूरी के ड्रोन के लिए फ्लाइट टेस्ट कर रहा है और स्वदेशी स्मार्ट बम खरीद रहा है। यह मिली-जुली आर्थिक ताक़त और रक्षा तैयारी भारत को ग्लोबल मंच पर मज़बूत बनाती है। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने दुनिया में अस्थिरता के बीच इस बढ़ोतरी को बताया, और कहा कि इससे दुनिया भर में नया भरोसा जगा है।
