Seven Held in Bolarum Arms Theft, Including Three Serving Army Personnel

Police have arrested seven more individuals, including three active Army personnel, in connection with the theft of military weapons from Bolarum. The stolen arms were allegedly intended for a series of robberies targeting banks, jewellery shops, and wealthy individuals. A retired Havaldar, Upputholla Mallesh, is believed to have orchestrated the plot with his associates. The serving soldiers allegedly provided assistance in stealing the weapons and ammunition. Authorities are investigating potential sales of the stolen firearms to contacts in West Bengal.

पुलिस ने बोलारम से सैन्य हथियारों की चोरी के मामले में तीन सक्रिय सेना के जवानों सहित सात और लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है। चोरी किए गए हथियार कथित तौर पर बैंकों, ज्वैलरी की दुकानों और अमीर लोगों को निशाना बनाकर की जाने वाली सिलसिलेवार डकैतियों के लिए थे। एक रिटायर्ड हवलदार, Upputholla Mallesh, पर अपने साथियों के साथ मिलकर इस साजिश को रचने का शक है। माना जा रहा है कि सेवारत सैनिकों ने हथियार और गोला-बारूद चुराने में मदद की थी। अधिकारी पश्चिम बंगाल में संपर्क के लोगों को चोरी के हथियारों की संभावित बिक्री की जांच कर रहे हैं।
