Kentucky Farmer Finds Over 800 Coins

A Kentucky farmer discovered over 800 Civil War-era gold and silver coins in his field, a find now known as the "Great Kentucky Hoard." The collection, buried for over 160 years, was unearthed after the farmer initially found a single 1856 silver half dollar. The coins were later sold privately for over $3 million. Among the most valuable were 18 rare 1863 $20 Gold Liberty Double Eagles, each valued at over $100,000.

केंटकी किसान को मिले 800 से ज़्यादा सिक्के

केंटकी के एक किसान को अपने खेत में गृहयुद्ध के समय के 800 से ज़्यादा सोने-चांदी के सिक्के मिले हैं। इसे "ग्रेट केंटकी होर्ड" कहा जा रहा है। 160 साल से ज़्यादा समय से दबे ये सिक्के तब मिले जब किसान को पहले एक 1856 का चांदी का सिक्का मिला। इन सिक्कों को बाद में 30 लाख डॉलर से ज़्यादा में बेचा गया।
