Rosatom CEO: 30 RITM Small Reactors Underway

Rosatom has 30 RITM small reactors in various stages of completion, with 15 already built and approximately 14 under construction. Rosatom Director General Alexey Likhachev stated that the global market is recognizing Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) as solutions for specific needs, not a universal answer. These small reactors are in demand for remote micro-economic systems, large industrial projects, and mobile floating configurations, indicating a growing niche for specialized nuclear power.
