Kolhapur Celebrates Navaratra With Mahalaxmi Temple's Nagar-Pradakshina

Kolhapur witnessed the traditional 'Nagar-Pradakshina' of Goddess Mahalaxmi on Navaratra Ashtami, with devotees gathering to see the colourful procession. The goddess was carried through several city roads before returning to the temple. Earlier, the idol was adorned in the Mahishasuramardini form. The temple saw approximately 88,000 devotees on Monday, with over 10 lakh visitors during Navaratra so far. Preparations are underway for the Royal Dasara celebrations, expecting a large turnout.

कोल्हापूर में नवरात्रि अष्टमी पर देवी महालक्ष्मी की पारंपरिक 'नगर-प्रदक्षिणा' हुई, जिसमें भक्तों ने रंगीन जुलूस देखने के लिए भीड़ लगाई। देवी को मंदिर लौटने से पहले शहर की कई सड़कों से ले जाया गया। इससे पहले, मूर्ति को महिषासुरमर्दिनी रूप में सजाया गया था। सोमवार को मंदिर में लगभग 88,000 भक्तों ने दर्शन किए, और नवरात्रि के दौरान अब तक 10 लाख से अधिक श्रद्धालु आ चुके हैं। रॉयल दशहरा समारोह की तैयारियाँ चल रही हैं, जिसमें बड़ी संख्या में लोगों के आने की उम्मीद है।
