Delhi HC: Building Collapse Not Ordinary Mishap

The Delhi High Court stated that the multi-storey hostel building collapse in Satya Niketan, which killed seven people including students, was not an ordinary mishap. The court noted that four students who died had come to Delhi with career aspirations, which were tragically shattered due to alleged callous and criminal conduct. The building collapsed on September 6 during repair work.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने कहा कि सत्य निकेतन में बहुमंजिला हॉस्टल बिल्डिंग का गिरना कोई मामूली हादसा नहीं था। इसमें सात लोगों की जान गई, जिनमें छात्र भी थे। कोर्ट ने कहा कि मरने वाले चार छात्र करियर बनाने दिल्ली आए थे, लेकिन कथित लापरवाही और आपराधिक रवैये के कारण उनके सपने टूट गए। यह बिल्डिंग 6 सितंबर को मरम्मत के दौरान गिरी थी।
