Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi described a US effort to open dialogue as a "positive step" but stated there are no immediate plans for meetings with American officials. He indicated that Iran has studied a letter from US Vice President JD Vance and outlined conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz, which could lead to renewed negotiations. An Iranian delegation is currently in Doha for consultations with Qatari mediators regarding proposals on the nuclear dossier and sanctions relief.
