An IIM Calcutta graduate, Jahnvi Singh, has detailed how switching from McKinsey to Google has transformed her career and personal life. While McKinsey offered exposure to diverse clients and challenges, her role at Google allows for deeper industry focus, though it can feel repetitive. The move has also significantly altered her travel schedule, reducing frequent domestic trips in favour of international business travel two to three times annually. Singh highlighted that her current position provides more personal time for fitness and social activities, indicating a shift beyond just workplace perks.

आईआईएम कलकत्ता की ग्रेजुएट, जान्हवी सिंह ने बताया है कि मैकिन्से से गूगल जाने पर उनके करियर और निजी जीवन में कैसे बदलाव आए हैं। जहाँ मैकिन्से में उन्हें अलग-अलग क्लाइंट्स और चुनौतियों का अनुभव मिला, वहीं गूगल में उनकी भूमिका में एक ही इंडस्ट्री पर ज़्यादा ध्यान देना पड़ता है, हालाँकि यह कभी-कभी दोहराव वाला लग सकता है। इस बदलाव ने उनके यात्रा कार्यक्रम को भी काफी बदल दिया है, जिससे घरेलू यात्राएँ कम हो गई हैं और साल में दो से तीन बार अंतरराष्ट्रीय बिज़नेस यात्राएँ होने लगी हैं। सिंह ने बताया कि उनकी वर्तमान स्थिति उन्हें फिटनेस और सामाजिक गतिविधियों के लिए ज़्यादा व्यक्तिगत समय देती है, जो सिर्फ ऑफिस के फायदों से कहीं ज़्यादा है।
